Baked Pears with Gorgonzola and Honey: Easy, delicious and elegant appetizer for special occasions. You only need 5 ingredients and 20 minutes to make it!

Ingredients

– ripe but not too soft pears, e.g. Concorde or Green Anjou – liquid honey + more to serve – thyme – soft blue cheese like gorgonzola – walnuts, to garnish – salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste ... Tap for more ingredients 

How to make it?

Preheat the oven. Cut pears in halves and scoop the seeds with a teaspoon or a melon baller. 

Place the halves open-faced on a baking dish and drizzle with liquid honey. Place thyme and bake.

Place a teaspoon of soft gorgonzola or any other blue cheese into each pear boat. Garnish with walnuts and drizzle with more honey if desired.

Wait until the pears are cooled down completely before stuffing them with blue cheese.
