Ingredients

– medium-sized beets – chickpeas  –  tahini paste – lemon juice – garlic or more, to taste – cumin – sea salt – freshly ground black pepper – extra virgin olive oil  – reserved whole chickpeas, black sesame and olive oil to garnish

How to make it?

Combine roughly chopped beets with chickpeas, tahini paste, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, sea salt and black pepper

Blend until smooth

For pita chips: 

Cut each pita bread in triangles and place them in a large bowl

Bake until golden and crispy
