  • 70 grams or 1 cup fresh kale
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey for a non-vegan version
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 230 ml or 1 cup almond milk or any other nut milk
  • a pinch of sea salt
  • water or ice optional


  • Blend all the ingredients in a blender, add a bit of ice or water to adjust the consistency and a pinch of salt to balance the taste. Enjoy!


Add banana to this kale smoothie for the creamy consistency, peanut butter and maple syrup for a little sweet touch, lemon juice for a tart note and almond milk to thin it all up.
